Europa puts local youth through their paces

Europa Worldwide Group recently gave over 200 students a taste of working life recently at a ‘mock interview’ day at Lampton School in Hounslow, close to its Heathrow branch.

Heathrow branch manager, Nick Robertson, national airfreight manager, Andy Serpant and internal recruitment and acquisition manager, Mark Chopping interviewed 238 students aged 14-15 to help develop their presentation, organisation and communication skills.

The Royal Mail, BP, The Rotary Club and BJMW Recruitment also took part in the day, providing a broad spectrum of interview experience for the candidates.

Lampton School’s head of personal, social and health education Alistair Hind said the event was a brilliant way to build upon the key skills the students had learnt in lessons throughout the year.
