Fifteen more apprentice places at Schenker

[ April 25, 2014   //   ]

Schenker Limited, the UK arm of the global logistics services provider DB Schenker, is offering 15 new places for young people on its UK National Apprenticeship Programme, now in its fifth year.

The new group will be based in a variety of locations including Heathrow, Basildon, Felixstowe, Nuneaton and Bournemouth. As before they all will undertake a two year long apprenticeship with the leading global logistics provider.

At the conclusion of the programme the apprentices will have completed extensive training and gained a full appreciation of the DB Schenker organisation.

UK managing director, Helgi Ingolfsson, said “Our apprentice programme is expanding each year with more opportunities for young people to work within the logistics business. This is a crucial part of the long term development of our company.”
