Half a century with Birmingham trucker

Great-grandfather of six Don Fisher is finally hanging up his driving gloves after an extraordinary 50 years with the same firm – Birmingham-based international haulier and Palletforce member, Chambers and Cook Freight. Mr Fisher, 79, joined the company on 17 February, 1964. But other members of the family will carry on the tradition into the 21st Century – Don’s two sons are also drivers at the company.
