[ May 22, 2018   //   ]

Next year’s Multimodal will take place on 18-20 June 2019 at the Birmingham NEC, says organisers, Clarion Events, who also hailed the success of the 2018 show in early May.

Challenges and opportunities in a post-Brexit logistics landscape, as well as digital supply chain innovation, headed the discussion. It provided a platform to network and grow business for over 9200 supply chain decision makers and more than 300 leading transport and logistics companies.

Ninety-two industry thought leaders shared insights on key topics including Blockchain, warehouse robotics, Brexit, air freight opportunities and port strategy during the free-to-attend seminar series.

The FTA Multimodal Awards, held on the evening of the first day, also attracted a record number of entries in its four-year history, with more than 650 VIPs attending the gala dinner.

The NextGen Logistics Network was launched with backing from Meantime Communications and Peel Ports, with two panels of young speakers aged between 22 and 30 from Howard Tenens, Heathrow Airport, and Malcolm Logistics.
