New course gets to grips with logistics

[ December 22, 2012   //   ]

The Logistics Institute at Hull University Business School is offering logistics and supply chain managers a flexible three-module programme course to help them to get to grips with the subject

The first one day module is an introduction for those relatively new to the profession – or a refresher for old hands – followed by a two-day ‘tool box’ in effective logistics management and concluding with a two day supply chain development strategy module. The courses run concurrently over one week. The course can be taken as either three stand-alone elements or over a single complete week.

It is being delivered by Dr Omera Khan and Dr Ricardo Mogre, lecturers at the Logistics Institute and Dr Martin Christopher, Emeritus Professor of Marketing and Logistics at Cranfield and visiting Professor at the University of Hull.

For further details of how to join the programme, the first of which starts on 22 April 2013and the second on 23 September, email s.davy@hull.ac.uk, or call 01482 347 524. http://www2.hull.ac.uk/hubs/logistics.aspx
