New venture promises better train connections
[ March 30, 2017 // Chris ]The logistics arm of the French railways (SNCF) and Marseille –based digital sea freight solutions company Traxens are forming a partnership to promote a new generation of ‘digital’ freight trains in 2017. They will help improve the performance and appeal of rail in the freight market, with real-time data and on-time deliveries.
Since its start up in 2012, Traxens has developed a “connected container”, providing key information on the transportation and delivery of a shipping container such as location, or temperature in real-time.
