Permit row set to disrupt Turkey transit

Road freight from to the EU could be disrupted by an escalating dispute between Turkey and Bulgaria over truck permits. Smaller Bulgarian freight operators have been blockading border crossings aftger Turkey said it would slash the number of one-off transit permits issued to Bulgarian operators from 250,000 in 2013 to just 5,000 in 2014.
