New cranes to lift Maritime performance

Maritime Transport has put two new Konecranes straddle carriers into operation at its Birmingham Intermodal Freight Terminal (BIFT). With a four-high capacity they will provide faster, more reliable loading and unloading containers. Maritime acquired BIFT in 2014 as part of the Roadways Container Logistics deal, and has grown the terminal’s operation from one daily service to five. FedEx offers more economy options

FedEx Express has expanded its Asia Pacific to Europe International Economy service to include Malta, Bulgaria and Cyprus and International Economy Freight option to Romania and Estonia. Dachser ready to go for growth in the North – updated
