Swissport has opened Liège Airport’s first ever dedicated perishable handling centre. Fully operational from 1 August, the temperature-controlled airside installation reinforces Swissport’s flower corridor. The airside, facility is designed exclusively for Unit Load Devices (ULDs) carrying temperature-sensitive goods and offers precise climate control between 2°C and 8°C and capacity for 40 units, the equivalent of a full freighter load.
