Swansea Cork gains more time

An Irish High Court judge has aextended protection for the operators of the Cork-Swansea ferry service until 24 January to allow finalisation of a survival scheme. Fastnet Line Ship Holdings Ltd (100 per cent owned by the West Cork Tourism Co-operative Society had gained court protection. Some €673,000 has been raised so far, leaving a balance of just under €1 million.
