[ April 7, 2017   //   ]

A re-run of the China Rail train service between China and and the UK is set to place  – this time in the return direction from the UK.The return train back to China will depart DP World London Gateway’s rail terminal on 10 April.

China Railway subsidiary CRIMT, DB Schenker, InterRail Group and Yiwu Timex Industrial Investment, operated a first service from Yiwu in China to Barking, arriving on 18 January. At a ceremony to mark  the arrival, officials said that they hoped the service could develop into a regular operation, particularly if return traffic back from Britain could to found to counterbalance expected heavy flows of consumer goods inbound from China.
