Van der Vlist UK relocates to Hull

Van der Vlist's UK Offices UK part of Dutch-owned Van der Vlist Transport Group, is relocating to Burma Drive in Hull, less than a mile from the port, from 1 March. The company provides provide out-of-gauge and oversized transport along with associated services including permits, escorts and route surveys. Facilities and equipment include over 200 trucks, trailers, a range of modular axles, storage and port facilities, project management capabilities and fully equipped assembly, maintenance, modification and inspection workshops.

Kevin Kelsey, MD, said: “We identified the Burma Drive site and started discussions with the local authorities about our proposals. I’m extremely happy to have completed such a project, and can now concentrate on the continued success of the business”. The move to the new site had both location and expansion in mind, he added. “Hull is a major entry and exit point for our drivers the situation is ideal and, with the additional space available at the new premises, there is the potential for storage services.”
