Baxter signs two-way customs deal with Gerlach

Nottingham-based forwarder Baxter Freight has signed a partnership with European neutral provider Gerlach Customs Services for customs clearance after the Brexit transition period ends. It grants Baxter Freight’s customers access to customs support and consultancy from 750 experts across the continent.

Baxter Freight also becomes the UK sales representative for Gerlach, whoses portfolio covers all common customs clearance services such as import, export, transit and premium services such as customs control tower and customs consultancy.

Gerlach will provide customs clearance services at all suitable locations including borders and ensure that customers are fully supported throughout the challenges Brexit will bring to their logistics.
