Dronamics signs Greek post deal

Cargo drone airline Dronamics has signed a letter of intent with Hellenic Post (ELTA) to operate the first postal services by cargo drone in Greece.

Dronamics, which says it is the first such company with a license to operate in Europe, will start with a domestic service connecting the mainland with islands. However, the two companies are also exploring international cooperation to provide postal cargo drone deliveries from Athens to key European cities.

Earlier in October, Dronamics signed a letter of intent with Emirates Post Group to explore the technology’s capabilities in the UAE  and to collaborate in developing a comprehensive cargo drone delivery network in the UAE and the wider Gulf region.
