French logistics group launches UK operations
[ January 6, 2025 // Chris Lewis ]France’s SPI Group has formally taken over the management of packaging activities and associated logistics of a consumer goods company in the Cambridgeshire area, its first move into the UK market.
The company has created dedicated subsidiary, SPI UK and is now in charge of managing the various technologies and the 400 people at the 30,000sq m site.
The SPI group already carries out similar operations in France
The group will start a second activity in England in March 2025
