DP World to be Transaid partner
[ January 24, 2025 // Chris Lewis ]Ports and logistics company DP World is to become a corporate partner of Transaid for three years. It joins more than 30 companies from across the sector that have pledged their support to Transaid, which has been the official charity of the UK transport and logistics industry for 27 years.
Chief executive for Ports and Terminals at DP World in the UK, Ernst Schulze, said: “DP World has a firm commitment to supporting communities and leaving a positive legacy in the areas which we operate. We have been closely following Transaid’s projects for some time, and we are excited to get behind an organisation which does such fantastic work around road safety and access to healthcare in sub-Saharan Africa.”
Transaid chief executive, Caroline Barber, added: “DP World brings a new area of expertise and truly global reach to our organisation, which I am sure will be a huge asset across our projects in 2025 and beyond. The support of our corporate partners is one of the key reasons our programmes are so successful, and it’s fantastic to kick-off the new year with DP World pledging its support.
