Stena chief steps down
[ November 23, 2012 // Chris ]Stena Line CEO, Gunnar Blomdahl is to retire after ten years in the role on 1 January 2013 and will be replaced by Carl-Johan Hagman. He is currently responsible for shipping operations in the Stena Group.
Blomdahl has in his decade a
t the helm developed Stena into one of the world’s largest ferry companies and it has seen its most profitable years during his tenure. The company has invested around £1.1bn in new tonnage and new routes.
Carl-Johan Hagman will relinquish the role as chairman and Dan Sten Olsson will once again take on this role.
