CMA CGM takes stake in Egypt inland port

CMA CGM Group has signed a strategic partnership agreement to acquire a 35% stake in October Dry Port near Cairo, Egypt. October Dry Port is an inland port offering a fully equipped distribution point to facilitate the operations of freight forwarders, Egyptian importers and exporters and shipping lines. It is a joint stock company established as a special purpose vehicle, owned by El Sewedy Electric, SLP for Logistic Properties and Schenker Egypt.
