The fine art of electrification

Fine art logistics specialist Gander & White has introduced its first electric truck. The new Volvo FL Electric 4×2 rigid will be used for customer deliveries across London, for high-value items, including fine art, sculptures, and antiques.

It follows a successful trial of a demonstrator model, which underscored both the operational efficiency and environmental benefits of electric vehicles. The truck is fitted with a Carrier Transicold Iceland 11  electric refrigeration unit. to maintain a consistent internal temperature, helping to preserve sensitive cargo throughout transit.
