Logistics UK welcomes Stranraer roads boost

Logistics UK has welcomed plans by the Treasury of £66 million spending on transport announced on 24 July that will include extra funding to explore upgrades to the A75 to the port of Cairnryan. Head of infrastructure policy, Jonathan Walker, said that strengthened the transport links between Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and local connections in Scotland, had long been a priority for the group.
