[ October 1, 2025   //   ]

A team of 48 riders from the transport and logistics sector raised more than £90,000 for Transaid on their three-day, 328 km cycle challenge from Cork to Dublin.

They were supported by headline sponsor Dublin Express, medal sponsor RHA, and event sponsors Dawsongroup and Stanley Travel.

Head of fundraising for Transaid, Maddy Matheson, said: “Taking part in this year’s cycle challenge was an unforgettable experience for our riders, and it was fantastic to see firsthand the passion and dedication shared by all our supporters. The unrestricted funds raised from events like these allow us to launch new pilot projects that transform and save lives. A massive thank you goes out to everyone who took part this year.”

Next year the challenge returns to Africa, for a 10-day, 454 km adventure from Kilimanjaro to Pangani on the coast of Tanzania.

Transaid also plans to announce the details of its 2026 UK/EU Cycle Challenge in the coming weeks.
