First phase of new-look Lufthansa Cargo HQ ready to go

Lufthansa Cargo has completed of the first phase  of its new headquarters at Frankfurt Airport with the first 60 office workspaces due to co into service after official building approval in mid-December.

Three further construction phases will follow to the beginning of 2028. The development will offer 10,000sq m of space and is part of a comprehensive modernization of the cargo infrastructure at the Lufthansa Cargo Campus including the ongoing construction of the new cargo hub at Frankfurt Airport.

With a total investment of €600 million the LCCevo programme is currently Lufthansa Group’s largest infrastructure project. By 2030, the existing cargo center, covering a total area of 330,000sq m – equivalent to around 46 soccer fields – including administrative areas, will be gradually and fundamentally modernized while remaining in operation.
