Pavel Kveten returns to lead Girteka Logistics

Lithuania-headquartered Girteka Logistics, largest asset-based road transportation company in Europe, has appointed Pavel Kveten as chief executive.

He has spent more than 10 years of his career at Girteka, previously leading transport, commercial, and operational teams. He then spent three years leading fellow Lithanian-based logistics company Everwest, expanding the company’s business into new markets such as China and Kazakhstan.

During his career at Girteka, Pavel Kveten executed numerous ambitious transformation projects. In his new role, he will focus on improving business management processes and increasing operational efficiency.

Girteka Group chief executive, Edvardas Liachovičius, said: “Our goal is clear – to remain at the forefront of the European logistics sector and to operate profitably. Entering the coming year, it is crucial to have a leader with extensive industry experience and a strong results-driven mindset. We are delighted that Pavel Kveten is returning to our team. Girteka operates over 700,000 full truck loads a year across Europe with a fleet of 6,000 trucks, 7,000 trailers and 13,000 employees. It offers temperature-controlled transportation and tailored solutions for the pharmaceutical, food & beverages, and high-value cargo sectors and also operates intermodal a solutions.
