Worker dies in AV Dawson accident

A worker at AV Dawson has died in an accident on 8 December, according to press reports. North East Ambulance Service was reported as saying it responded to a call t at the firm’s Riverside Park Road address at about 09:30. The Health and Safety Executive said it was working with Cleveland Police to establish what had happened.

AV Dawson is owner and operator of the Port of Middlesbrough and also has extensive logistics operations at various sites on the River Tees.
