Geodis set to buy French FTL firm

French-owned forwarding and logistics company Geodis has concluded an agreement to acquire full truckload operator, Malherbe, subject to completion of regulatory formalities.  It would put Geodis among the top three players in the French market for full and less than full truckloads, with combined revenue of €2 billion. Malherbe was founded in 1956 and has a network of 40 branch offices with its own fleet of around 1,500 trucks and employs more than 3,300 people nationwide.
