AD Ports adds logistics expertise

AD Ports Group has added to its Logistics team following  the appointment of Jochen Thewes as chief executive of the cluster.

Thorsten Meincke joins AD Ports’ Noatum Logistics arm as executive vice president – ocean and air freight. Previously, he held senior roles at Kuehne + Nagel.

Björn Eckbauer has been appointed senior vice president of global air freight development and procurement. He was most recently senior vice president for global operations and procurement air freight at DB Schenker.

Boris Kuehn has been recruited as Senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions, and previously served as the head of global corporate venturing and the head of mergers and acquisitions transportation and logistics at Deutsche Bahn.

Thorsten Pook joins Noatum Logistics as managing director – Middle East region, having previously been chief operating officer and managing director at CEVA Logistics and Kuehne + Nagel; Samad Osman is managing director – Africa Region, following 20 years at Hapag-Lloyd, AP Moller Group, Kuehne + Nagel, and OMA Group; and Roberto Moreno becomes managing director – Latin America Region, having served as chief executive for Canada and Latin America at DB Schenker.
