Richard Catt to lead BIFA in South-east

The British International Freight Association (BIFA) has appointed Richard Catt as its regional representative for South East England, a new post created to reduce the area covered by Paul Newman, who will now focus on East Anglia and East London. 

Already a member of BIFA’s Council and its Policy Group, Richard Catt has held senior roles at  PSL Group, and then Rhenus Logistics when it PSL in 2019. Currently, he is a director of ALS Brokerage Service, and will continue in that role.

He has extensive knowledge of Customs brokerage and serves as a member of the Joint Customs Consultative Committee.

He is also a member of industry groups including the Southern Road Corridor Working Group, Freight Liaison Group and the Intermediaries Task Force Group.
