Uniserve launches China LCL rail service

[ May 21, 2026   //   ]

Uniserve has launched a China–UK rail LCL consolidation service. Operating weekly from Xi’an, it consolidates cargo from major Chinese manufacturing hubs including Shanghai, Ningbo, Qingdao and Shenzhen. From there, shipments move by rail to Poland in just 12 days, providing a clear advantage. The journey continues into the UK via frequent sailings, arriving at Tilbury with devanning taking place within immediate reach of the port. The forwarder says the service is avoids heavily congested North West European rail terminals, while the flexibility of LCL consolidation removes the need to commit to full container volumes.
