Europa gives Transaid rider a vital boost
[ May 26, 2026 // Chris Lewis ]Europa Worldwide Group is supporting Transaid’s 10-day Kilimanjaro cycling challenge to raise funds for the Transaid charity.
Founded in 1998 by Save the Children, leading trade body The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), with support from its Patron HRH The Princess Royal, Transaid transforms lives through safe, available and sustainable transport solutions.
Europa has supported the charity since 2013, recognising the life-changing importance of the charity’s transport and driver training.
Transaid’s next major event, Kilimanjaro to Coast sees a group of riders take on a tough 454km route, beginning in Moshi, at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park. From where the riders will tackle demanding climbs beyond Irente Viewpoint before descending towards Pangani, at the mouth of the Pangani River.
For the first time, Europa is sponsoring a rider, industry executive, and ex-professional cyclist, Ian Wright from Logistics Business Media, as he takes part in Kilimanjaro to Coast.
