Two more car ships for Sallaum Lines

Sallaum Lines has ordered two 8,6000CEU pure car and truck carriers (PCTCs) from Xiamen Shipbuilding, the two largest vessels in its history, with an option for a further two similar vessels. It follows the recent delivery of Sallaum Lines’ newest LNG dual-fuel ships

Each PCTC will be 199.9 long, a beam of 38 meters and, with five liftable decks, are designed to accommodate a broad cargo mix. They will operate on Sallaum Lines Europe, the Americas, Africa and Middle East routes. They will have dual-fuel engines able to operate on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) and Marine Gas Oil (MGOand could be converted to operate on green ammonia.
