Interclear enters UK customs market

French-based customs specialist Intelclear is expanding into the UK. The office in Chelmsford is led by Mark Taylor, who brings over three decades of industry experience, alongside Chouaib Mekkaoui, who leads Intelclear’s European operations from France.

Intelclear, which also has offices in Dublin, Shnghai and New Jersey, offers clearance services for import, export and transit movements, bureau services, international trade compliance services such as classification, valuation, origin, AEO support and emerging frameworks such as CBAM and global trade management.

It says its expansion comes at a time when businesses face rising duty exposure, evolving regulatory frameworks such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and increasing pressure to manage customs compliance, trade risk and supply chain resilience more effectively.
