Kalé acquires Spain’s Portel Logistics

Kalé Logistics Solutions has acquired Spanish port community and regulatory compliance solutions provider, Portel Logistics Technologies. Portel’s Dedalo and Vellore products will complement Kalé’s existing airport and port community systems portfolio, adding regulatory and customs compliance capabilities. Dedalo and Vellore support the electronic exchange of advance cargo information in accordance with Import Control System 2.0 (ICS2) standards, which requires all cargo entering Europe to be declared before arrival. It also gives Portel’s 350 plus customers access to Kalé’s wider portfolio of logistics technology solutions.
