Keeping European logistics under observation
[ July 10, 2026 // Chris Lewis ]The Contract Logistics Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano in collaboration with the European Technology Platform ALICE have set up a European Logistics Observatory.
Its aim is to produce data-driven insights, foster dialogue and support decision-making in the field of logistics and supply chain management in Europe. The initiative will be led by Damiano Frosi, Alberto Curnis, Fernando Liesa and Andrea Condotta.
It will collect, produce and enhance information, needs and best practices that are still often fragmented, with a focus on market evolution and on the role of digital transformation and innovation in addressing the sector’s key challenges.
Participants include the European Logistics Association, The European Chemical Industry Council, Assologistica, Fraunhofer IML, ALSEA – Associazione Lombarda Spedizionieri e Autotrasportatori, Innocenti Depositi, Katoen Natie, Adidas, Ariston Group, Barilla, Coca-Cola HBC, Diageo and Electrolux Group.
