Ulster fulfilment firm to double space in Belfast

[ September 4, 2026   //   ]

SJH Fulfilment is to invest £3.5 million in a new 46,000 sq ft Greater Belfast fulfilment facility, more than doubling its total warehousing footprint and supporting 25 permanent jobs over the next three years.

The new facility at Maryland Industrial Estate in Moneyreagh takes the company’s total warehousing footprint in Northern Ireland to 83,500sq ft, up from 37,500sq ft at its Kilkeel base. The additional capacity will support larger fulfilment contracts for fashion, wellness and beauty, marking the launch of a new 10-year growth strategy targeting revenues of £50 million by 2036. Five full-time employees have already been recruited at the new site, with a further 20 permanent roles expected to be created over the next three years. An additional 10 seasonal positions will be added this winter.

The company has also secured a contract with US-based brand, which is consolidating its Great Britain and EU warehousing operations through Northern Ireland. SJH Fulfilment said the contract was secured in part through the confidence it has built around trading under the Windsor Framework and Northern Ireland’s access to both the GB and EU goods markets.

Founder Stephen Henderson, said: “Opening this site is the single biggest step we’ve taken as a business, and it couldn’t come at a better time. We started small, close to home in Kilkeel, and have proven that a Northern Ireland fulfilment company can compete for major national and international brands.

“This investment gives us the scale, location and capability to win larger contracts while creating high-quality permanent jobs. Securing a major US brand for our new facility is a strong endorsement of what we can offer and the opportunity ahead. Our ambition is to grow revenues to £50 million over the next 10 years and, with this expansion, a stronger leadership team and continued investment in our people, we are building the foundations to achieve it.”
