TGP launches Spanish operations with Bilbao office

Project forwarder Trans Global Projects (TGP) has opened an office in Bilbao, northern Spain.

It is home to a seven-person team, led by managing director Spain, Sergio Rivas, with experience in project cargo, industrial logistics, transport engineering and project delivery. It will provide services including project logistics management, multimodal transportation solutions, transport engineering support, heavy lift and out-of-gauge cargo transportation, chartering coordination, vendor management and project execution support.

Customers will benefit from local decision-making, direct access to experienced project logistics professionals and the support of TGP’s international network and project expertise.

TGP group chief executive Colin Charnock, said: “Spain and the wider Southern European region are important markets for many of our clients and partners. Having an operational office in Bilbao allows us to be closer to projects, strengthen relationships across the region and provide support where decisions and project activities are taking place.”

Chief strategy officer for global accounts and south Europe, Igor Muñiz, added: “Many clients manage projects across several countries and work with multiple stakeholders throughout the supply chain. Our experienced team in Spain allows us to provide local support while maintaining consistent processes, communication and project oversight across wider programmes.”
