Geodis signs phone contracts in Ireland

Geodis has signed a logistics partnerships with fibre broadband provider Siro and Vodafone. The forwarder will manage the storage and distribution of essential network equipment, as they develop their  infrastructure across Ireland. Siro is an fibre broadband provider and a joint venture between ESB, Ireland’s leading energy  company, and Vodafone. Operating from Geodis’ multi-client facility in Dublin, Geodis will manage the  receipt, storage and distribution of materials needed to support Siro’s ongoing fibre network rollout across residential and commercial markets nationwide. Geodis will also provide warehousing and fulfilment services for Vodafone. The agreement covers inventory management, picking, packing and dispatch of network materials used to develop Vodafone’s mobile and broadband infrastructure.
