Having a whale of a time in Munich

The giant BelugaXL freighter will be a regular sight at Munich Airport in the first five weeks of 2025. The huge – and unusual aircraft – somewhere there is an Airbus A330-200F lurking between the whale-like fuselage – is flying A350 sections to the Airbus plant in Hamburg-Finkenwerder. The BelugaXL is expected to make three more visits to the airport on 23, 29 and 31 January, landing in Munich at midday and taking off for Hamburg in the afternoon.
