Accident claims rail shippers’ chief

Chairman of European Shippers’ Council Rail Freight Council, Henk Schaafstal died on 6 January following injuries sustained an accident on 3 November. A senior supply chain engineer and rail coordinator within the chemicals supply chain management department, he was also an enthusiastic and highly influential member of the Dutch Shippers’ Council, EVO, and in recent years with ESC.
