Middle East-based forwarder Agility has reached a global settlement in the case involving US government food-supply contracts in 2003-10, agreeing to pay $95 million in cash to settle the civil part of the case. In the criminal proceedings, it agreed to plead to a misdemeanor in connection with a single invoice and pay up to $551 in restitution, but with no criminal fine.  The settlement will also allow Agility to pursue new US government contracts and be removed from the its list of suspended companies.
