Agri brigade keep ABP busy

[ October 21, 2020   //   ]

ABP’s port of Ipswich has handled nearly 1.2 million tonnes of cargo since 23 March and its total has reached over 1.6 million tonnes this year.

Divisional port manager for the East Coast, Paul Ager, said ABP’s ports of King’s Lynn and Ipswich had dealt with 56 vessels, which also exported nearly 200,000 tonnes of agricultural products.

Ipswich remains the UK’s number one export port for agricultural products, a position it has held since 2005.
