Al Ain explores air-rail links

Abu Dhabi Airports has signed a deal with Hafeet Rail to develop multimodal, cross-border serevices for freight and passengers via a planned corridor connecting Al Ain International Airport with the broader UAE and Oman.

The two parties will explore opportunities to link the upcoming UAE–Oman railway directly with Al Ain International Airport.

Al Ain is attracting significant investment across key economic sectors, with new industrial zones, tourism projects and growing cross-border commerce.
