[ April 15, 2016   //   ]

Militzer & Münch is offering end-to-end tracking on its service to Iran. The international logistics service provider uses a tool that transmits location via the GSM cellular network which, as it is not permanently installed, can be used by different carriers. Customers can call up the status of their shipment at any time via an online tracking platform.

Militzer & Münch says it is one of the few logistics companies with a comprehensive infrastructure in Iran. Through sister company, the PTB Group, it offers a staff of over 600 at 15 locations and about 130,000sq m of warehousing spac

In the southern port city of Bandar Abbas, PTB Group uses areas in a designated free trade zone and operates a container terminal. In preparation for the official lifting of the sanctions, Militzer & Münch has negotiated partnerships to secure truck capacity and the possibility of rail transport are being examined.
