Allport chooses new Turkey partner

Allport Cargo Services has signed a new partnership with Intercombi (part of NetLog Logistics Group) on the UK?turkey trade lane after its previous partner, the Ulusoy Group decided to exit international transport.

The new deal covers all transport modes including overland, intermodal, sea and air.

Group chief executive of Allport Cargo Services, Charles McGurin said: “Allport Cargo Services has a reputation built on a passion for service and making our customers’ lives simpler. We believe that in choosing Netlog/Intercombi we are partnering with a dynamic international group that shares these same virtues and we look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

Group vice president of Netlog, Gokalp Cak, added: “Both our companies are focused on providing one-stop shop logistics services and this is another step in Netlog’s transition from being the lead local logistics player to becoming the leading regional logistics services provider.”
