Allport opens German-Dutch warehouse site

[ March 22, 2019   //   ]

Allport Cargo Services has opened a new bonded warehouse at Nettetal, Germany on the Dutch border. There is up to 15,000sdq m of space available with the option of high-rack, block or transhipment storage. The forwarder says that traders might want to consider warehousing goods within the EU to avoid additional customs controls and potential double duty payments. It adds that a number of its clients have already established operations in mainland Europe to enable them to import goods directly from outside the EU for re-delivery within the Community without the need for customs controls each time an order is despatched.
