Allseas starts India joint venture

UK-based Allseas Global Logistics and Mumbai-based Seamless Projects have created a new joint venture company, Allseas Project Solutions. The partnership is based in Mumbai and has plans for offices at gateway ports such as Mundra, Chennai and other strategic locations. It is headed by Pradip Upadhyaya, who has more than 35 years’ experience in the shipping and logistics industry, and will handle the containers, general cargo and heavy lift/project cargoes. The new company has just completed its first major project, the transportation of two sets of 30-metre wind turbine blades from India to the UK.
