Antwerp-Bruges appoints chief executive

The Port of Antwerp-Bruges has appointed Rob Smeets as chief executive for a six-year term. He took over the role from Jacques Vandermeiren on an interim basis in April and will assume the position permanently. He has worked for the Port Authority for more than twenty years.
