Aramex buys out Hawthorn Logistics
[ March 6, 2026 // Chris Lewis ]Aramex has acquired 100% of Irish company Hawthorne Logistics Solutions for €2.5 million, buying out shareholders Martin Cunningham and Terrance John Allen. Dubai-headquartered Aramex, which already has an extensive Irish operation based at Belinstown, north of Dublin Airport said the move would bolster its European freight footprint.
The company said: “Bringing the two organisations together represents a natural step in our continued growth and adds further depth and scale to our existing network.”
Ballycoolin-based Hawthorne offers air, sea and road forwarding, along with customs clearance and courier services and is active in markets including life sciences, retail, cosmetics, aviation and organic food.
