Aramex signs medical deal

Aramex has signed a partnership with Dubai-based NewBridge Pharmaceuticals to provide logistics services in the Middle East, Africa, Canada and the UK. The logistics company is managing the logistics of  patient samples from clinics for advanced clinical testing along with temperature controlled storage and transportation of medication from distribution hubs in the UK and Canada to healthcare facilities within the Middle East and Africa. It is also providing customs clearance, secondary packaging, labeling, vaulting and guarded transport services.

Aramex chief executive Hussein Hachem (pictured), said: “By working closely with NewBridge we are able to further penetrate the healthcare market, take advantage of the increased demand for logistics services in the pharmaceutical industry and better support people who require medicine and other pharmaceutical needs to be delivered to them effectively and efficiently.”
