Ashleigh Page goes the extra mile for Generation Logistics award

Former GXO sales development executive Ashleigh Page was the Extra Mile Award Winner at the Generation Logistics 2025 Awards in the first week of October. During her time at the company, Ashleigh Page – now working at Unipart initiated a project to make Material Handling Equipment (MHE) roles accessible for colleagues with disabilities. She worked closely with deaf colleagues and a team member with limb difference, introducing awareness training, buddy systems and inclusive safety protocols.

The awards are the first of their kind from Generation Logistics – a campaign that is raising awareness of the varied career opportunities available for young people within the sector. Winners will receive exclusive one-to-one mentoring with the Generation Logistics’ Executive Sponsor, Phil Roe, an invitation to the Parliamentary Reception, a £200 voucher to a retail outlet of their choice and a ticket to Logistics UK’s Logistics Awards, as well as use of social media assets for their profiles.

The Hidden Gem Award Winner was Archie Combellack  at CEVA Logistics. The award shines a light on those who work quietly but powerfully behind the scenes, consistently delivering outstanding work, demonstrate initiatives and support their teams with humility and dedication.

As a business development degree apprentice at CEVA Logistics in the UK, Archie Combellack has supported multimillion-pound proposals, secured over £100,000 of new business and maintained a £500,000 pipeline.

Other winners were: Alice Mullan of Iron Mountain Warehousing & Logistics (The Talent Advocate Award), Alex Castle, Wincanton, now part of GXO and Grace Brown, Asda, (Trailblazer Award joint winners).
