Ask your MP for more time for Brexit talks, says BIFA

[ June 3, 2020   //   ]

With negotiations between UK and the European Union having resumed, the British International Freight Association is encouraging its members to write to their local MPs and the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, tMichael Gove MP, to request an extension to the Transition Period should no trade deal look like being achieved. This follows a survey of the trade association’s membership that showed that more than 72% of respondents said that there should be an extension if a trade deal appears unlikely.
